Making city data readable for the people who plan cities.
Nebulux is a platform that combines traffic, air quality and planning data into a single 3D view for local councils. The product worked, but planners found it intimidating and often exported data to spreadsheets instead.

Challenge
More than forty data layers, three types of users and a 3D view that was impressive in demos but slow to use in daily work.
Approach
We interviewed planners, mapped their real tasks and designed task-based workspaces with only the layers each job needs. The 3D view became optional, with a clear 2D default.
Result
Weekly active users doubled within four months, and spreadsheet exports dropped sharply. Two councils extended their contracts after the redesign.
